Post graduate studies

Yes, I'm studying two programs at the same time and my love ones, friends,  say me "you can get more cash if you get a master in Computer Science", but I'm sure that I want to study a master in music area, specifically in musicology, I love the history of music, the theory and how to teach it. If some day I have the chance to do that, I'd like to travel to England or Ireland; I like those countries and the Celtic culture. Furthermore, I play the flute, and I love the Celtic music, so, I'd want to create a group of celtic music in some of those countries. If I have money problems, I'll work as a programmer, although I want to do that anyway to get experience, but I trust on God that I wont have problems. Well, I don't have more ideas of what I will do in my future, I think that I have to wait the moment and do it. in the meantime I enjoy the present, I enjoy doing the activities that I love. I know that knowledge will open the doors for me in the future.

MY FUTURE JOB

Well, in my case, I'm not sure  what I want to do in my future job. I love playing piano, teaching music history, and obviously, composing. Those activities are of music area. On the other hand, I love Programming and developing softwares. If I think about what I would like to do in my future, I think that I want to mix all that I know, I mean, programming music and Apps to create music. Currently I'm making an App in Processing to control Pure data, both of them are software to make electronic music. They are open source software and you can programming in Java, so, I liked them because I know how to program in that language. thats is one of all ideas that I have.

I'm not sure and I know that everything changes over time, so, I'm patient and flexible with what life brings me. But what I'm sure, is that I will be immersed in music and computer science and hope a relax life and tranquillity.

Kindest Regrets

English IV - Post II

Hi dears:

Well, I still remember when I went to my first concert in 2007 because I went to see Iron Maiden, they were filming their album "flight 666" and My father and me were on vacations there and visiting some relatives, so, we take the chance. the stadium door  were full, so, We had a some problems to enter, but we did yeah. I had 12 years, so I was little boy and my father was careful with me, but we delight anyway. My father is not a fan of Maiden, he prefers to listen Depeche Mode, Modern Talking and bands of those years... ancient years haha, I thought that until I enter at university, I study much older music, therefore, I don't have any words to say him... I've had many concerts in my life, but how it was in other country (Maiden), I remember it like a special event. I've gone a lot of concerts such as: Foals, The killers, Coldplay, Pearl Jam, etc. But my "first love" will always be Iron Maiden.

English IV - POST I

Hi dears:

At the moment I've traveled to many places, inside and outside the country and I've had a very nice experiences; such as in Argentina when I traveled by my car and I toured from north to south and I camped, I liked that because I met a lot of nice people. And well, I have other experiences and when I was 15 years old, I wanted to travel to Ireland, because I love their culture, music, beer, etc. To achieve that goal I have to learn a lot of english, so, I practice it everyday and I try to speak without traslator's help. At the same time, I watch a many videos in english and read books about psychology, I adore it.
Other country that I want to visit, is France. I like their culture, and obviously, the music; modal, very dreamlike. Also I speak French, I have a french class twice a week, therefore, I feel I am ready to travel, I will and I did it, I just have to wait and grow a little more. I will have traveled in a few more years.
And the final country that I want to visit, Is Greece, one of the cradles of civilization and phylosophy. moreover I feel that everyone should know the roots of what he loves, and I love the music.

POST 1 (English IV)

Hi dear,
it's easy for me to learn in general, I love the languages, so, I study everyday to learn them, therefore I'm studying computation, so, is very important that I learn english a lot.
it's hard to learn when I have to memorize a lot of vocabulary in a short time, but always I get it.
I have not a especific topic that I want to learn, but in this case, I would like to learn more vocabulary. I learn when the teacher ask me to speak, about something. I think that I learn (like everybody) when I have to use the language. I participe more in class when there is a topic that I like. I know that my english is not perfect, but I try to learn it everyday.

POST 8

Hi dears:

I don't have much interest about things that are going on, because I have been focus on my studies, my family, friends, and other things that are most important. But there is one topic that I have been doing from highschool, and that is help the environment. I feel good when I help it, I think that is my duty as a persona that live in this world, beautiful world. When I travel to the coast and walk on the rocks, I remember all the things that world gave and give me yet.

I know that the perfect doesn't exist, but I try to be a good person with the world. I hate the people who dump garbage on the street, that are very bad and (when I can) I say to them "Please, can you dump it in a container ( $"%#%%)". Logically there are people who don't like do the right, so, They don't have a culture and I try to pick up the trash of them (when I can, because I don't know if those people have a disease).

Thanks for reading

POST 7

Hi Dears:

On this post, I'm going to show you some articles that help me to learn about several topics. As you know, I'm studying two programs at the same time, so, I need to simplify my work and make it as effective as possible. I love reading (I wrote about that earlier), but I know that my time is limited, so I have found these websites that support my studies and let me clear up my doubts:

-Stackoverflow: on this website, you can find computing information. On this page, I solved a lot of  problems about codes of different programming languages.

-IMSLP: Everybody who is musician knows this website. On this site, you can find scores and music books. Also, I'm a pianist and I often enter this site to look for some sheets to play or to analyze.

-Scribd: Scribd is one of my favourites pages, because I found a lot of articles, papers to read. Of course, many of those articles are in English, but that is not a problem. It's a problem when they are in Italian or German.

-Wikipedia: Everybody at school did homework using Wikipedia, so I don't need to explain much about this.

So, here you have some pages that you can find a lot of information about numerous fields.

Thanks for reading.

POST 6 GENDER ROLES AND STEREOTYPES

Hi Dears:

I'm going to answer the following question: are more nurses female or male in your country?
the answer is  that there are obviously more female nurses. This is because nursing has always been considered as a career for women since ancients ages. It comes from Christian doctrine, because  women have been deemed as humanitarian and caregivers, while men, on the contrary, are deemed as providers and stronger than women, so they don't have the sensitivity of women to take care of someone (stereotypes). Also, if we read the history, there are a few of male nurses, the vast majority are female nurses; for example: Hildegard von Bingen was a great doctor (and other professions) of the middle ages.

In Chile, that thought is changing, because when I go to a healthcare center, a man takes care of me and has the same jobs of woman. I have friends that they're studying nursing and they don't feel uncomfortable. I can't tell you about others countries because I have never been in a hospital of another country (fortunately).

Finally, I agree that everybody has the sames chances to study what they want. But there is one career that is deemed only for women, and that is preschool teacher.

Thanks for reading.

POST 5 - Photo

Hi dears:

I am not a person who take so many selfies, I like to take photos of landscapes and moments with my family or friends. Now, I'm going to show to you one of my favourite photos. It was taken in 2017 when we were (family) in our beach house (near Iquique). In this photo I was with my brother David (14). Always at dusk we go to the coast to observe the fall of the sun while we talk about our experiences and walk on the rocks. In that moment we were sit on rocks and my father asked to us if he can take a photo to archive in his album.
When I feel bad I look to this picture and remind all of memories that I have with my family. Since I was a child I love ocean landscape, when I create music I try to travel to the beach and stay on the rocks and I feel sea breeze and my mind flies and I feel as if I was in an oneiric world. Well, That's is my photo and I'm going to show to you another photo because it was taken the same day (by me).

Thanks for reading. Bless.

POST 4:

My hobbies:

I have several hobbies; such as writing, reading, playing video games and practicing new age's practices (yoga, meditation, etc.). But my favourite hobby, is reading about the history of music and Arts while listening music. I started to love it when I was getting prepared to enter to college. I knew that the History is very important if you want to study an Artistic career, so, I began to study a lot of. While I was studying the history (2013) I started to feel a sense of curiosity and I wanted to know more of it. I like it because reading relaxes me, but I prefer read about history, physiology, esoteric and Arts  than romantics and novels books. I like to learn new things and to teach them.
Every day I try to read; can be papers, articles, biography or videos about topics that I like.
Well, as you know too, I'm studying computation at night, so, that is my hobby too, but is my duty.
I'm studying it because I know that in the future the computer knowledge will be necessary, also, I want to work independently; develop web sites, desktop software, databases, etc. I love to work on back-end. I know some programming languages such as: Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, GoogleScript, sql and Pl/Sql. Well, I love my hobbies. I think I chose well what I want to do.

Thanks for reading.

Post 3

I'm not a great fan of technology. I had my first cellphone when I was 18 years old, and it was very simple. I dind't have Whatsapp until I started the second year at university (2015). Same case with Instagram. I hardly ever use social network (I don't have Facebook. I deleted it). But I have a positive opinion on Ipads (or tablets) I don't have a favorite piece of technology, but I think they are very useful for me. I still use an Ipad that my parents gave me when I finished highschool (2013). It is still working, although I can't download apps and update Apps that I have installed in it, because the Ipad is very old. But I don't care, I use it to replace notepads and save a lot of space in my bag and that is fantastic because sometimes I have to travel and I can't carry many things. I use it just when I have classes and I have to study. I want to use it until it dies. When that day comes, I will save money and buy another one. It doesn't have to be Apple. The brand is not important to me.

Post 2

When I was a 7 years old, I had two big dreams. The first one was to be a great military. That dream ended when I was 13 years old, because I started to play the piano and I liked it so much. I played at school a lot. So I started feeling excited about becoming a professional musician. So, when I was 16 years old, I decided to study musical composition at universidad de Chile, but, at that moment, I had another dream. That dream was to be an informatic engineer. So, I knew that I had to choose one of them. I chose music as my lifestyle because not many people study arts, and I love it.
My experience at university has been a rollercoaster, because nothing is perfect. At the beginning of my career, I missed my parents a lot  (like I wrote on the last post, they are from the north). But, now, I'm so fine because I like to live alone. I can spend time on my own, playing, and doing things that I like, etc.
I don't have many expectations about my future job, because I'm studying two programs now. I would rather work in something related to music than informatics, as always. First, I would like to apply for a master's degree. then I would like to do a Doctorate in music. After that, I want to devote myself to computer science and blend those two worlds in my life.

Thanks for reading.

My Biography

Hello Dear:

I was born in the north of Chile, in March, 1995. I was living in Chuquicamata for 9 years when we (as family) had to move to Calama (15 min away from Chuquicamata). I have one brother. His name is David. and we have been best friends since he was born. In 2014, I started my studies of musical composition at Universidad de Chile. Then, in 2017, I felt in  love with informatics. So, I decided to join two programs in my life at the same time. Fortunately, I have a lot of luck for to having great marks in both programs. So, I'm grateful for having a good life. Today, my family is still living in Calama, so when I started college, I missed them a lot. Sometimes, I travel to calama to visit my family, and We make dinner, we go outside and we go to the beach (they have a little house). I have few hobbies, but my most important hobbies are  informatics, reading, riding my bike around the city at night. I love psychology too, so I always read some article about it. It's so interesting. So, I'm a very calm person, I love to do the things that fill my soul and I always try to find time to reflex.

Thanks for reading,

Greetings
(Chuquicamata, now It's a ghost city)
